PROJECT STATUS
Five conceptual alternatives have been developed and presented to the public for review and comment at a community meeting in September 2011. To learn more about the alternatives presented, click here.
Using data gained from recently completed preliminary engineering and environmental analyses as well as from public input, the project team has completed a Conceptual Alternatives Evaluation report that presents recommendations on which alternative(s) to advance. This report is currently being reviewed by ODOT. Once approved, the report will be made available for public review and comment. Another community meeting will be held to discuss report results and gather public opinion on a preferred alternative.
After a preferred alternative is identified and the necessary NEPA documentation is completed, the Eastern Corridor Implementation Partners will move forward with securing funding for construction. The timeline for this phase of the project depends on funding availability.
