Public involvement has played a critical role in the planning and development of the Eastern Corridor Program.  Public involvement continues to be instrumental as the projects undergo further evaluation on refinement.  Below is more information about public involvement activities pertaining to the SR 32 Relocation project.

Community Partners Committee/Context Sensitive Solutions Meeting
On March 14, 2012, ODOT met with a group of community representatives to present background on the SR 32 Relocation project and begin an on-going dialogue between the project team, representatives from communities living in the SR 32 Relocation corridor, environmental groups and resource agencies. The meeting’s goal was to establish a core committee of stakeholders that would facilitate an exchange of information, ideas and feedback with the larger community throughout the SR 32 Relocation Tier 2 study process.  Information discussed included current project status, next steps, context-sensitive framework, public involvement strategies and areas of community interest and concerns.
